Resumen:
In this article we will present the design of the initial cycle evaluation in the Law degree of the Autonomous University of Chile. The integrative subject corresponds to Constitutional Rights and Guarantees. The purpose of the initial cycle evaluation is to demonstrate the integrated development of the initial cycle competencies by verifying, through an evaluation situation, the levels of achievement of the expected learning in the students from the observation and measurement of their performance, in order to thus determine possible differences with those established for the end of this training cycle. At the end of the semester, students must be able to demonstrate, through their own performance of their discipline, that they have mastered the competencies declared for this cycle of their study plan. An evaluation is pursued at the end of the authentic training cycle, triangulating knowledge and practices as close as possible to the professional and social reality.
